Preterm Labor Stinks
For the last two weeks or so we have been running back and fourth from labor and Delivery. The contractions come they go they come back. Finally on thursday of last week they gave me two shots of beta Meth to Mature little Tiggers lungs. I hope that he is able to stay in a little longer. If we can get him to 34 weeks we should be o.k. Until then it is rest rest and more rest.

Julie and Julia
Last night shark boy and I went to see Julie and Julia. Great movie. It was the kind of movie you could just sit back and enjoy. It got me thinking though. Who read my blog. No one really. Which in a odd way is o.k. by me. My sister stops by sometimes, so does my friend, but other than that no one else. Still I keep writing it. For some reason maybe someday I will have readers and followers and all that. If not that is fine to. The blog serves a journal purpose for what ever I feel like writing. Which is perfect for me.

I walk
Sun in front moon behind alone I walk in a straight line. Few paths have curves along the way, I look forward to find a better way. Suddenly I see and wonderous lake, a patch of grass, a beautiful place. I rest my tired body down thinking that it is steady ground. The earth begins to tremble and shake. I rise ready to move and wake. Faster Faster I have to move the earth below me were I stood , is no longer there it's crumbling fast. I make it away with a bruise and a scratch nothing that I can not patch. I gather my thing and walk away.

Someday
When I was a kid aI had a dream of who I would be. A mom that had a happy marriage to a tall dark and handsome man , three kids and a dog. Living in a small town with the best school district, eating organic, being green, and doing everything for my kids. So many day I would sit and think if I got to this palce in my life my life would be complete and happy and wonderful.
Years passed and good thing happened and bad things happen. I kpet trying to get to that place, the place I always dreamed of being at. It was a long whindy road. But I am there. I have everything I have always wanted. I have to brag for a moment and tell you how proud of myself I am. I may not have the best clothes, the coolest gadgets, the best looking body.... but I have everything that I have dreamt about since I was a child. I feel very accomplished in my life and very content. I am one lucky women. I have wonderful kids and one on the way. An amazing husband and family and all around great friends. I have my someday now.

beans bedding

Shark boy and I are both Disney freaks. There is just somethinig magical about disneyland and the world of disney. Some people think it is a little inmature to have this obsessive disney attitude. But I really don't care, I rather have the imagination of a child for my entire life than grow up in to a stuffy adult who doesn't laugh and doesn't want to play with there kids. O.K. so I am rambleing another lovey pregnancy thing I have come to do. Anyways..... we picked it and we love it. Hopefully now target won't discontinue it befroe we have tiem to buy it..... lol.....

9 week update
Your pregnancy: 9 weeks
See the big picture
How your baby's growing:Your new resident is nearly an inch long — about the size of a grape — and weighs just a fraction of an ounce. She's starting to look more and more human. Her essential body parts are accounted for, though they'll go through plenty of fine-tuning in the coming months. Other changes abound: Your baby's heart finishes dividing into four chambers, and the valves start to form — as do her tiny teeth. The embryonic "tail" is completely gone. Your baby's organs, muscles, and nerves are kicking into gear. The external sex organs are there but won't be distinguishable as male or female for another few weeks. Her eyes are fully formed, but her eyelids are fused shut and won't open until 27 weeks. She has tiny earlobes, and her mouth, nose, and nostrils are more distinct. The placenta is developed enough now to take over most of the critical job of producing hormones. Now that your baby's basic physiology is in place, she's poised for rapid weight gain.

Morning thoughts
Night is silent cool and calm
morning comes with rays of sun
Wake with sleepies in your eyes
Call out for mamma she's always near by
crawling out of bed to stand
cammo pj's , doll in hand
ready for the day to start
clothes layed out for you to dress
you look at them and start to stress
which foot goes were and I want a skirt
baby girl if you don't hurry up you'll skip dessert
always with you in my heart, what a morning what a start
Up and attem ready to go
cartoons on , it's GI joe
playing army guy in front of hearth
it's time to get ready, it's time to start
Mom look at this commercial about nerf guns
pop in the toaster waffles till there done
mom I am ready and she's always late
why do we always have to wait
I packed my bag and my teeth are brush I hate it mom when she makes me rush
Hurry sister your wasting time , your driving me nuts , your crossing the line
little man grows up so fast, in my heart you'll last and last
small little one all safe and sound can't hear anything thats happening around
all snug and tucked in a safe little place
soon you'll be part of this crazy race
already in my heart you are waiting to meet you it isn't far

We have a heartbeat !!!
Today was our second apointmeant with the doctor well actually the PA. She was a very nice lady. She went over my chart again and I had to PIAC again and all that stuff. I had my first Pevic exam and a Pap. Then she said that they were going to do an Ultrasound. She ended up doing an internal ultrasound which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Sharkboy could see the heart fluttering and baby bean ont he screen. I could see baby bean to but I was a little far away to see the heart fluttering. The Pa couldn't really measure the baby well enought to tell how large it was or what our EDD would be. There is also a lot scare tissuse in my abdoman area so they also couldn't tell were my ute started and stopped. So I have another ultrasound scheduled for thursday the 16 th. Then hopefully I will get to see little bean on the screen and they will be able to date the baby a little better. So for now we just wait. But I was very gald to hear that little bean had a heart beat today. :-)

Our first doctors apointment
Our first appointment was on Monday. It was by far the longest doctors visit I have ever had. We were in with a PA for 2 and a half hour going over everything from medical history to NT scans and nutrition. There was a lot of opportunity to talk about any questions that sharkboy had about the baby and he asked many. I think he left feeling more at easy. Which is great. Then we headed over to the lab for blood work and urine sample. We go back on Monday the 13 Th for our first ultrasound to date the baby and and make sure everything is alright. We will also have the first exam on Monday as well. So five more days of waiting and wondering if my little bean is o.k. Everything with this pregnancy is so different from the last to. I am showing already with my baby bloat and am entirely in maternity clothes. My back is still an issue and i have never has this much back pain before with either child. So for the next five days I am taking it easy and nervously waiting to see you beans little heartbeat flicker on the screen. Then I think I can sigh a big sigh of relief.

Our parents know we are TTC

I went over to my mom and dad's house last night to pick up the kids. I walk in the door and see a pile of mail there. Some of my mail still goes there. So I am going through it and I see a baby card with Dumbo on it. Dumbo is my favorite Disney character after Jiminy cricket. I open the card thinking oh how cute someone they know if having a baby. The card started to play baby mine. I used to and still sometimes sing that song to the kids at bed time. I went over to my mom and told her how cute the card was and asked who was having the baby. She said," you shouldn't have opened that. The card is for you hopefully someday soon." I was almost shocked when I heard that she knew we were try to TTC. She hugged me and told me that my hubby let it slip and that they couldn't be happier. Then of course when we got home we had to call Shark boys mom and fill her in also. So our little family secret isn't such a secret anymore.

Our new adventures in TTC baby # 3
Shark boy and I have decided to add to our little family of four and make it a family of five. We are offically trying for a baby. I have two kids Captian Kurtis and Princess Seresta , but shark boy has no kids and we would like to have one togheter. We are very excited with our choice and we can't wait to see our BFP. Shark boy went out and bought us a Basal Them. so I have been charting my temps every morning. So far they are lower than I thought they would be , but still seem to be in the normal range. We are on CD 9 right now. I look forward to updating my sister and any one else who reads this on our journey down the road to baby.

I am a Mrs.
Well we did it. I am officially a Mrs. . Our wedding was amazing, wonderful, and completely magical. I loved seeing people I haven't seen in years and getting a chance to catch up with some old friends too. Our honeymoon was amazing as well. 10 days in Jamaica sure makes it hard to come back to the real world or work and kids. It is so good to be back. We missed the kids a lot but really enjoyed our alone time together while we were gone. right now we are just getting all upacked and trying to set up our home and our new life as a family.Friday, January 23, 2009

17 days
With 17 days to go the wedding plans are going great. All the major stuff is done. All I have left is all the little details which are killing me right now. Oh plus I have no idea who is doing my hair the day of. So all in all things are great. We got the key to our Apt. on monday. FI Shark boy was not there to do the walk through but he will be up here tonight for our last pre wedding class with the pastor and will go over and see it. It is a small two bedroom apt. but with luck and a little creativity it will transform into our home. I can't wait to start our lives together as Mrs. and Mr. Shark.

Faith and Children
.jpg)
I have a odd story to tell you about. This morning we where getting in the car and Captain Cutis asked,' Mom when you go to heaven you are gone forever and you do not exist anymore?' My heart sank. Why is a 8 year boy talking about this now.You know. So I dug a little deeper. I told him Brany do you remember what God and Jesus promised to us. He said yes, then I asked what. he said ' Those who believe in me shall have eternal life.' I said yes baby your right, and commented on how proud I was on him that he knew that. Then the hard question came. Well if you live forever than why don't we see U anymore ( my grandma). I told him about how our bodies are a tent that we live in while we are on earth and that they are temperary shelters for our souls. Then he asked Where is her soul than. This is when I really started to sweat. I told him that your soul is who you are, you thoughts, your feelings, and your dreams and imagination. You soul is always with you and your soul will exist forever eternally because you believe and have faith in God and Jesus. Then I told him that if he ever misses U or wants to see her he is always in his heart and he can find her there forever. I told him if he ever fears being non existant to pray to God about etennal life and ask him for a blessing. So at that moment in the Car all three of us prayed for God to help us renew our faith in him and grant us eternal life. He was all happy go lucky and fine. What a test as a mom and a christain all before 8:00 in the morning. These are days where I personally think God challanges me as a parents and as a teacher of his word to the kids. I am glad I could help Captian Curtis and make him understand a little better that his feelings were normall and o.k. These are the thing that come up with being a parent that are so unexpected but are a blessing as well. Just thought I would share that amazing moment.

New year great outlook
I was browsing on yahoo today about my horescope, because I a friend of mind Alyssa said that her horescope was a great one and I was currious about what mine said... Well it said nothing but great things are comming my way.
Year 2009 Overview
In 2009, you find yourself connecting with people effortlessly as your warm-hearted actions are acknowledged and radiated back to you in a way you've never experienced before. The confident joy and happiness you freely give to others gives you the innate ability to be productive. For you, kind actions are the way to transformation and success.
This is a perfect time for proud Leo, because you have the desire, drive and power to help society. You realize there's work to do, and you'll give a helping hand wherever you can. You are ready to align yourself with a higher level of awareness, and exhibit a regenerative attitude is about reaping the harvest by submitting to the larger purpose. What you are able to give to others directly reflects the transformation happening within you.
Your heart is in the right place, and you are likely to accomplish all that you set out to do this year. You're developing excellent skills in your own personal transformation process, and you are ready to make the conscious decision to be the best you can be. You feel secure, and the beauty of who you are shines through easily and effortlessly.
Year 2009 Romantic
You feel as if you're reaping the harvest this year in your relationships. Socially, your connections are very positive and your altruistic, visionary personality brings you a great circle of friends. Very strong and intuitive, your sense of self-worth in a close relationship makes it a very loving and secure one -- your main focus for some time now. Your enthusiasm bubbles over as an intimate relationship blossoms, and the challenges of constructive communication become easier and easier.
Energetically, you are uplifted when you choose to be in a relationship and master the art of accepting someone as they are. In the springtime, your focus may shift to marriage as many blessings come your way, giving you opportunities to experience conscious acts of sharing, cooperation and honor. Things may seem to move fast, but if you go with the flow, you'll gain confidence in your progress.
Much healing takes place when you have someone close to share your life with. Reap the rewards, and you will encounter feelings that will become the basis for far-reaching transformation in your life -- and in that of others as well. Leo's need to be in charge is no problem, because you and your partner are energetically and equally matched. Be grateful for the love and growth you are experiencing -- both metaphysically and spiritually.

Taking time for me
With the wedding like 36 days away, working full time and raising my two kids. I have offically decided that tomorrow is a me day. The kids are with there Dad tomorrow and Sharkboy will be hanging out with his borther in San Jo. So it leaves me the perfect opportunity to spoil myself and relax. I am getting up early going to the farmers market. I love the farmers market. I love the fresh fruits and Veggie, but most of all there is a lady there that sells goat milk soap that is the best. My fav is her Lavendar mint one. I just used the last of it on monday so I need to pick up some more. After that my plan is to go have a hot orange spice tea at the rising loafer and then to take a walk around downtown and do some window shopping. With all the last minutes stuff that needs to be done for the wedding and the kids starting back at school monday, this will be a breather for me to enjoy doing nothing. I can't wait.
