Little tigger

Little Tigger was born on 11/11/09. He was 6 lb 10 oz and was 18 3/4 long. He was born at 11:10 am. The first few day where rough recovering and little one was jaundice and ended up in the NICU for a couple of days. shark boy was so happy to have him in the world and the kids faces were priceless when they got to meet him. Fast forward for and a half months and we are now at today. Things have been really busy with little tigger and Captain Kurtis and Princess Seressta. But all in all we are very happy and very busy. I like to think that someday again I will have time to update this blog more often but then I rarely have time to sip on a cup of coffee in the morning. Things are very happy and very well in our home. We recently moved into a three bedroom house with a backyard adopted two kitties and are looking to adopt a puppy soon.

We have our C section scheduled

We will be able to welcome little tigger into the world on Nov. 11 th if everything goes to plan. Still contracting after getting a shot of trabutiline so the docs are just going to let it go for now.

Week 31 update

How far along? 31 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: -6 pounds
Maternity clothes? yes
Stretch marks? yes
Sleep: if I get more than three hours straight I am happy
Best moment this week: was washin all tiggers clothes and putting together all the baby stuff
Movement: yes but more like rolls not so much swift kicks.
Food cravings: watermelon, hot dogs, and milk
Gender: boy
Labor Signs: a little here and there
Belly Button in or out? in
What I miss: a day where I am not tired
What I am looking forward to: Little tigger birthday
Weekly Wisdom: eat and sleep
Milestones: my sugars have been a lot better

Fall is missing

Just a vent about how freakin hot it has been. It has been over a 100 for the last couple days. Where is the fog and the crisp morning? Where is the hot cider and scarves? I am waiting for you to pop up and surprise me. Please come soon.

Preterm Labor Stinks

For the last two weeks or so we have been running back and fourth from labor and Delivery. The contractions come they go they come back. Finally on thursday of last week they gave me two shots of beta Meth to Mature little Tiggers lungs. I hope that he is able to stay in a little longer. If we can get him to 34 weeks we should be o.k. Until then it is rest rest and more rest.
